Wow with two days left until Baton Rouge's first ever Engaging Cocktail Party we have to stay we are very excited for it to finally be here!! We want to thank all the brides that have RSVPed and visited both our web site and blog through out the past two months. It has been a truly a blast planning this event and we are so excited to see it in its full glory come Thursday evening!

As you mingle and peruse through the three rooms filled with the great variety of vendors, we hope you enjoy the great background tunes played by Reese Jenkins Disc Jockey Services.

Fleur de Jour will have an array of bouquets, floral arrangements and boutonnieres to show off her latest designs that will make an awesome final touch to your wedding day. All the flowers displayed through out the Old Governor's Mansion will be Lani's designs!

Out of the Box, a group of local wedding vendors dedicated to upholding the highest standards, is gearing up for a wedding event like Baton Rouge has never seen.

Out of the Box's Engaging Cocktail Party will be a chance for brides to meet and mingle with the area's best wedding vendors - on a one-on-one basis! Rather than being overwhelmed by booth after booth of vendors in a frantic, fast-paced bridal show, Out of the Box will give you the chance to relax, have a glass of wine and enjoy an evening out with your fiance!

Held at the Old Governor's Mansion downtown, the event will be a mix of interactive examples from top wedding vendors in an atmosphere that more resembles a beautiful wedding reception than a bland, crowded bridal show.

So, mark your calendars! January 24, 2008 is a date you won't want to forget!
